Behind these hazel eyes

Don't remember when I updated last so forgive me if I repeat stuff.

Saturday was the family reunion at my uncle's house. Quite fun, but it also brought up a lot of memories about the last time I was there and who I was with. I won a doorprize and was able to pick out a hand-made doll that my great-aunt made that looks an awful lot like me. The only difference is that the doll has blue eyes and I don't have blue eyes anymore. I'm going to put it one day in my camelback trunk with all the heirlooms I've been collecting over the years.

Sunday was the picnic at the next town over so we went to the parade...only we forgot the sunscreen. So now I have this really lop-sided sunburn and a case of mild sun poisoning. But that doesn't really bother me much and they threw out lots of candy and stuff.

And today we got our internet fixed. ^_^ It seems that our modem was a dinosaur and couldn't keep up with everything going on. So they put in a new faster modem and everything peachy king now!

Beyond that, I've been bringing all my college stuff out of storage and sorting it for re-packing. Found the stereo I got the other day from my uncle and was signing all afternoon with the radio. I can't even remember the last time I listened to the radio, I've been so wrapped up with Moulin Rouge soundtrack. (I think I seriously need to get that DVD) Getting all excited again about moving up there and partying with everyone again. I haven't been to a good party in a really long time and it will be good for me to let my hair down (as the saying goes). Plus I won't have to worry about driving home ^_^

Don't think I have anything more excited to say (and yes, I do realize the excitement level (or lack there of) of this entry)
